Description
Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosis)
While not a true ginseng (Panax spp.), Siberian ginseng has been used for at least centuries as both a supportive herb during winter months, an immune stimulant, and more recently as an adaptogen. Adaptogens are a type of herb that are said to support the body’s ability to handle both physical and mental stress. While the exact way in which adaptogens may work is not fully understood, Siberian Ginseng is traditionally used by people who are dealing with both physical and mental challenges in their lives. It is also used to maintain cognitive and nerve function, whether dealing with anxiety and irritability, fatigue and brain fog, nerve damage from herpes family viruses, addiction recovery or other stressful issues.
